常见的report文章的结构一般分为四段。

第一段：最好是直接开题。report文章不需要有什么观点存在，只要说明现象即可。

第二段，说明引起此种现象的原因。

第三段：说明此种现象造成的影响。可顺着题目询问的内容展开。

第四段：说明解决办法。

第一段开头: (引子)

第一句： 描述背景(引子) it is indisputable fact that …无可争辩的事实是……

替换句型： it is an undeniable fact that …

第二句：(可有可无) the serious consequences of 加主题are often felt in our life .

事实带来的后果

第三句：承上启下：In this essay , I intend to explore the sources of this problem along  with some possible solution to it .

替换句型： In the following essay , I aim to identify the sources of this problem as well as some viable solution to it .

第二段： 分析原因（结构较为灵活）

第一句： Chief among the causes of this problem is …原因一

第二句： In the past , …过去是多么美好

第三句： Consequently , …当下情况是多么惨败

Based on all mentioned factors leading to（+主题） the water scarcity, a couple of effective solutions can be implemented. To begin with,advanced technology is needed to purify sea water at a relative low cost and sell it with a reasonable price. Then, the imbalanced allocation of fresh water called for the ‚intense cooperation among areas, including some transfer projects. As far as the human behaviors, we have to come up with some strict rules and punishments to regulate our activities. For factories, if they release too much wastes into the waters, they will face a huge ticket and be required to innovate their current technology to improve the efficiency of using water. For citizens, they will be charged more when the amount of water they consume exceeds certain level.

第四段： 总结

第一句： In conclusion , I believe that this is clearly a problem of such complexity that  no solution is likely in the short term .
